Folio sells digital property-intelligence products (property checks and verified reports) and handled services. We want you to buy with confidence · this policy explains exactly when we refund. Nothing here limits your consumer rights under Costa Rican law (Ley 7472).
The instant property check is free. There is nothing to refund.
Before delivery: you can cancel any time before we deliver your report, for a full refund.
If we can't verify the property: if the parcel cannot be identified in the official registries, we refund 100% automatically · you don't have to ask.
If we miss our 24-hour delivery promise: you may choose a full refund or keep the order.
After delivery: each report is custom research against the official registries and is completed on delivery, so it is not refundable once delivered · with one exception: if it contains a material factual error, report it within 14 days; we will correct it, and if we cannot, we refund that report in full.
3-pack: unused reports are refundable at $23 each within 30 days of purchase.
The free trial lasts 7 days · cancel during the trial and you are never charged. After that, you can cancel any time: you keep access until the end of the paid period. Current-period fees are non-refundable and we don't prorate partial months.
These services are governed by their own service agreement. Before we start work: full refund minus payment-processing fees. Once filings are made or third-party costs are incurred: we refund the unused portion.
Email hello@foliocostarica.com from the email you purchased with, including your order number (FOLIO-…). We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original card via Tilopay and usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
If something went wrong, contact us first · we resolve issues faster than a bank dispute, and this policy almost always gives you a direct path to a refund.
